Constant Nursing??

My baby is almost three weeks old and last night all she wanted to do was nurse. I let her nurse until she let go on her own (which was an hour later) and she still fussed once she was done and had to reattach. All night all she did was nurse or she wouldn't sleep. Is this normal? Is it just comfort nursing? And how long does this last?? She'd starting to do it today too..

My baby did this. All night feeding with crying if he accidentally came off. He ate every hour and a half for like thirty minutes each time for the next 3 days. But,  he gained a ton of weight and grew an inch. Lol at 3 weeks it's pretty normal to have your little one hit a growth spurt. It just really stinks for us ebf mommies.

totally normal! I felt like my son was constantly going through growth spurts until about 2 months.. It gets easier!

My baby had a growth spurt from hell his third week. It was awful. It goes away though, just try and get through it

Completely normal! Breastmilk also passes threw babies digestive system a lot faster than formula so they eat more often. But sounds like she's going threw a growth spurt. Keep up the breastfeeding momma! You're doing great ✨

My pediatrician said at 3 weeks they usually hit a growth spirt. Could be what's causing it. My baby does this in the late evenings too. On for like 30-40 mins. Off for 10. On repeat for a few hours. He'll be 3 weeks old tomorrow.

I have this right now too. My son is two weeks old. I'm going to talk to my pediatrician about it because he has spat up a couple of times after because I think he isn't really hungry he is just using me as a pacifier.
