Rant about house!!

Ok, I know I should be thankful, and I was, but I am so tired of where I'm living. We are living in my husband's grandmother's house. She passed away about 1.5 years ago and we have been living in her house to upkeep it since then until the estate could be settled and sold. It was supposed to be 6 months. Now it's been a year and a half and it's looking closer to 2 years before we will be able to move. It's a 100 year old farmhouse in the middle of nowhere. It's a 40 min drive to get to a grocery store. There is almost no water pressure. During winter half the time there is no water. It's poorly insulated so it's either hot or cold all the time. Upstairs there is no insulation. It hasn't been updated since the 70's (think wood paneling and green laundry room) and won't be since the house is being sold for land, not the house. There is no dishwasher and everything is old and stained 😫 I am so ready to move but we can't because it would be up to us to check on the house all the time to make sure it was ok. So pretty much live here without living there then. The reason it hasn't sold is because there are property line issues that the neighbors behind us CANNOT get over and settle!!! I'm about ready to scream. I just want our own place!!!
