I went to the labor and delivery unit for monitoring. I am having contractions but am not in labor thank goodness I have to be monitored for 5 hours but all seems well! Thank you for your input ladies!

I just fell on my belly very hard, I tripped over a toy and hit the hard wood. I am 28 weeks I immediately called the doc and they said to do a kick count... This makes me un easy what if something is wrong... Would you just go to the ER or do the kick count?

I personally would just go to the ER. There's nothing more valuable then peace of mind

I'm 35 weeks and fell just this Saturday. Like hard and straight on my belly on the edge of the couch and I'm still in pain because of it. I went to a freestanding ER and they transferred me to a hospital to monitor heartbeat and contractions. Turns out I was having contractions very regular but they slowed down after a while and her heartbeat was fine and sent me home cause I wasn't dilated. I think you should go, it can go either way, rather be safe than sorry.

I'd go to the ER. This happened to a friend and she ended up having to deliver early due to placenta problems.
