What should i tell my parents?

I recently got my g2 lisense but my parents wont let me drive by myself, even to school which is approx. 5 mins away. I am so frustrated, i got my lisense so that i wouldnt have to have my parents driving me all over the place when they have places to be. I am a good driver, anyone that has been in the car while i was driving (with my dad in the passenget seat😒) says i drive really well. And on my driving test i did everything perfectly, except one of my turns were slow. Anyways, my mom said i couldnt drive because i was not on the insurance, but now that i am shes making up new excuses. All my friends drive, and i know i can to like cmon i passed the test and had a driving instructor that i practiced with 24/7. Its so frustrating. They treat me like i am 5. What should i do/say to them. They dont listen

EDIT: i was thinking to do something rebellious so they would know how much i want this. Im a pretty good daughter towards them i always follow their rules but that doesnr get me no where bc my parents are ridicously overprotective. i want this so bad :(

So here's the thing: if you don't own your own car than you have absolutely no claim to driving. I think it's great that you have your G2 and that you're a capable driver but if you would be driving your parents car then they have every right not to allow you to. I know you feel like they're treating you like a child, and maybe they are, but that's life. Doing something rebellious is just going to hurt your cause. My advice would be to get a job, save save save, and buy yourself your own car. That will do a few things: it will prove to your parents that you are mature and hardworking and it will show them how badly you actual want to be driving. If you're lucky they'll help you out with insurance but again, they're not required to. Driving is a privilege  not a right. Earn yours. You'll be a better person for it.

You aren't gonna like this, but I say wait! I'd kill to have my parents driving me around again. Trust me. You'll feel grown up for all about 10 minutes. Just relax. Enjoy being taken care of for a while. Practice makes perfect. Chances are, it's not you they don't trust; it's the other drivers out there. ❤️❤️

When i was 17 similar thing happened. I didnt come home one day, I told them if they are going to treat me like a child, then I will act like one
