Difference in gender at scans?

Question

I had a gender scan at baby bond when I was 16w 3days. Today I'm 20w and going for my anatomy scan this afternoon. Has any of you had an early gender scan and been told one gender then been told another and the hospital at 20w?

One of my best friends had an early scan she was told it was a girl.  She and her husband were ELATED because they already had 3 boys and no girls.  They went to their 20 week anatomy ultrasound...it was another boy.  They were now heartbroken.

My brother-in-law and his wife were told it was a girl during the entire pregnancy...baby was born---it was a boy!

I've seen people get a gender scan at 20 weeks and be wrong at birth 😋 happened to my sister's friend!

I've seen a few posts where they were told it was a girl then at 20 weeks told it was a boy or vice versa. Its most accurate at 20 weeks, before then the genitals are still forming.
