when does the doctor check u

I'm 36 weeks tomorrow and I went to my doctors yesterday the ultrasound tech said my baby is really low and head down I've been losing parts of my plug (at least I think) it's really heavy creamy discharge I have no infection going on either but my question is I have yet to be check by my doctor is that normal ? I thought ur supposed to get checked every time u go in after a certain point in pregnancy

You can ask to be checked. Mine said she starts checking at 36 weeks and I asked if she would refrain, she's going to wait unless necessary. Sometimes you just have to ask for the care you'd like.

I think it depends on the Doctor, mine doesnt do the checks at all but my old one did starting at 37 weeks

My doctor started checking me at 37 weeks which is when they consider "full term" enough to  allow birth. At 36 weeks with my son they said they would stop labor if it started but after 37 weeks they won't stop it.

Mine asked at my 36 week after my GBS test, and I was checked. I was not checked at 37, and my 38 is tomorrow. I'm hoping to get checked, and will most likely ask. I've had a hellish weekend with pain and BH, and I need to know if I should or should not finish my schedule (I'm working until 39/5 because I'm insane).

My dr didn't check me at all until I was in labor the nurses were checking me for dilation. That was it. Some Drs are noninvasive

I've always started getting checked at 35 Weeks when they do the Group B test.
