Excessive spitting up? FTM worried

Anyone else's baby spit up a ton during feedings? We've switched formula four times and at least with this one he poops, but he spits up a lot every time he eats and it's horrible to watch, plus I have to feed him more to make up for what he threw up. I'm a first time mom and my doctor says it's normal, but he's not the one watching his baby puke all day! HELP!

Or try sitting him up when you feed him make sure when he's taking it only half the nipple is filled like he's not taking so much all at ones does that make any sense? Lol I'm sorry I just know that worked for me. Gl

I had that issue too with my baby and my pediatrician recommended enfamil AR or you can buy rice cereal box and add 1 tsp for every 2 oz. to the formula you already have since enfamil AR is on the pricey side. That helped with his reflux really well. Also I always prop his head so that he's not laying flat, and when I burp I keep him up for at least 10-15 min before laying him down. With time it will get better, hope that helps 😊

Mine would spit up 7-8 times during/after feedings and would choke at times. She was diagnosed with reflux. Dr told us to give her enfamil AR, which has rice cereal in it. She rarely spits up now. It did seem to upset her stomach so now we do 1/2 gentle ease and 1/2 AR. She also breastfeeds at most feedings and seems to keep that down too.

I burp mine half way through the bottle. Also I've noticed Crying before the bottle tends to make mine spit up more, also eating fast makes her as well. I have been documenting every feed time so I can feed her before she is hangry 😁 it's gotten better with this method. Good luck FTM from the same 🙋🏼

If it's projectile, you need to go tell ur dr.. Has he always done this ?! Or did it just start? Does it see.mn like all his food plus some?! Reason I say see your dr if it's projectile and all of a sudden is bc that happened to my son and it ended up being pyloric stenosis- we caught ours super eearly but it can dehydrate your baby. Usually on first born white males- prob not it as it's pretty rare just thought I'd put that out there just in case
