Okay, so currently I'm a virgin, but I've known and liked this guy for over a year and he likes me too, I'm a junior in high school, 16 years old and I think I want lose it to him. We are pretty serious about each other, he is a junior as well at age 17. What do you guys think, is 16 a good age? What age did you guys lose it at and did you regret it? Edit: Sorry I should've mentioned this but we are in a relationship haha 😅

I wouldn't lose it to someone in high school that I'm not even in a relationship with. It seems too consequential and like I'd regret not waiting for someone special that I actually love. My advice: don't rush. Just because you guys like each other doesn't mean you should dive right into it and have sex. A year is nothing in high school terms. If you do lose it to him, please use protection and don't rely on his pull out game. 🙄

I'm 16 and I'm still a virgin. If you really want to, I don't think you're too young. Just don't rush it. Make sure it's really what you want to do, because you can only lose your virginity once. But if you feel you're ready, go for it👍🏻

I lost mine at 15. And I dont regret it, cause I wanted it, I chose to, but it kinda sucked because the guy turned out be a real asshole to me. I would say wait, but it's all up to you. You just never really know what someone's true intentions are at such a young age. Just think about it this way... if yall do have sex (which is fine, your choice, but just be careful, use protection, make sure he respects you & that you want it 100%) but like I said if yall do, he already knows what your vagina looks like, how it smells, how it feels, everything!! Sometimes guys open their mouths just as much as girls do (not saying he's like that, but you never know) you just gotta be safe with stuff like this!

I lost mine at 22. Not because I was for religious/marriage reasons. I was just waiting for someone that I felt safe and loved by. Also wanted to feel ready and before my current bf I didn't feel ready. There is no right age when it comes to a quantifiable number.

The right age is a qualifiable thing. An age where you feel comfortable asking the tough questions of each other(if he's had partners, getting tested, what are your views on if you happen to get pregnant, do you want to get on birth control before you have sex, what does sex mean to both of you)

If you are on the same page with these things and you feel loved and trust him, I say be safe and do what you feel comfortable with.

As long as you are comfortable and have no doubts when you think about it, go for it. But if you have any "What ifs" before then don't. Like someone already said, don't rush it. I'm 20 and I just lost my virginity a few weeks ago to my boyfriend. Just do whatever feels right to you and you can always change your mind! And if you ever need to talk I'm here. I am 17 and lost my virginity to my boyfreind 5 months. I don't regret it not one bit. I feel like even more closer and more comfortable with him now. But one thing. Only do it if you want to do it too. Not just to please your boyfreind. If you aren't ready DO NOT RUSH. If you wait it will still be worth your wait.
