How long after d&c?

Question

Ladies of those of you who had a d&c done. If you have had your first period already how long after your d&c did you get it? I just had a d&c on the 7th of Sept. I have any very little bleeding from it. I was just wondering about how long after you ladies got your cycle so I can kinda prepare myself.

Firstly I'm very sorry for both your losses, it's such a devastating thing to have to go through I hope you have family and friends around for support.
When I had my d&c it took around 6-8weeks for my period to come back with some light spotting in between. 
It will seem like eternity and that you're in limbo but stay strong, it will come back! 
After giving myself a couple of months to physically and mentally recover + a couple more months of trying, I am now 12 weeks pregnant. So stay strong ladies, it will happen xxx

I had a D&C June 18 and got my cycle back like clock work - 29 days later in July and then again in August.  They've been pretty typical as far as flow too - nothing crazy and out of the ordinary for me.

I hadn't d&&c two weeks ago and had very little spotting for just a few days! Yesterday I started to bleed heavy so I had to go for a scan to make sure nothing had been left behind!!! The lady said it was either a blood clot or my period!! I thought period didn't come for about 6 weeks and she the. Proceeded to tell me that it can come between 2-4weeks or 4-6 weeks as every woman is different! Xxx

Today hasn't been to bad. Been doing design stuff mostly so have been sitting most the day. So that makes it a little easier. On lunch now so after lunch only 2 1/2 hours left to finish the day. Its been a quiet day so I think I can make it. Then I have the weekend off. See don't work weekends at my job thankfully. So that will give me two more days of rest.

So sorry for your losses. Mine was about 7 weeks. I spotted on and off for about a month. Had very little bleeding the day of my procedure and a few days after. Bleeding got heavier when I went back to work (probably due to increased physical activity), so just something else to prepare for. Again, I'm so sorry.

Everyone's body is different and my doctor said it takes longer for period to come back the further along you were. Mine was 11weeks August 5 and I got a very light period right on schedule at 4 weeks but most likely I didn't ovulate so real period will be back around 8. The waiting SUCKS no other way to put it but you'll get through it. Sorry for your loss :(
