Can birth control give you sore nipples and sharp like cramps

Ive started taking tri lo estryella 2 weeks ago and this tuesday i started having horrible cramps with my sore nipples. I cant even twist my nipple ring because they hurt so bad. Is it normal for the start of taking them?
