anyone get a cold right after positive pregnancy test??

Question

Ughhh! Sick sick sick with a head cold. Dying to exercise and be outside. I work during the week and the weekend is my escape. Did anyone else's immunity get a shock around the time (or even soon as they found out) they were pregnant?!

I just think it's that time of the year. I'll be 24w tomorrow and am fighting a head cold now. Try Benedryl and Tylenol. Also decaf tea with honey. It's helped a bit.

Leading up to my bfp..i was in bed for three weeks because I was so sick and kept catching every flu and cold I could in that time period it was ridiculous...now I know it's cause my immune system dropped so much from being pregnant, even managed to get a UTI and a yeast infection was not fun

I did. Pregnancy knocks down your immune system so it's not that uncommon. I never get sick and I've been sick twice in my 27 weeks.
