What to wear?

Attending my first wedding on the 22nd. What do you wear to a wedding, what colors? Post pics if you have or if you know any websites, feel free to post.

It depends some weddings have a dress code you should check the invitation if not I would choose depending on the location of the wedding. Garden, open space wedding you should be good with a tea length dress, indoors cocktail or ball gown depending on the formality of the wedding. Hopes this helps 😊

Never wear white! It's discourteous. I generally message the bride to check that whatever I'm planning on wearing isn't the same/similar colour to any bridesmaids. I have several multiway dresses and ❤️ them for any formal event. Have fun!

Wear what ever you want, as long as it's not black, or white.

A cocktail dress that is anything but white is usually a good choice. I usually dress in a good color for the season.

If its a night wedding I usually wear a cute black dress. Outside or day wedding a sundress or brighter colors

It really just depends on whether it's a formal/traditional event or a more casual one, my wedding was smallish the whole event took place @ one venue, it was on a Sun. afternoon, our invitations were designed by a guy who does illustrations for fantasy comics & role playing games, my dress was blue etc. Some of my really casual relatives wore jeans & nice tops, everybody wore all kinds of colors, I honestly could have cared less about what people wore but an evening church wedding w/ fancy reception afterwards probably calls for a nice dress in a fancier fabric (nothing too revealing)
