Period Late and scared to take a test. How long should I wait?

I was officially dumped Friday and now I am 3 days late. What should I do? Scared to take a test because if it is positive it will be bittersweet.

You can test now since your late use first morning pee if you get a neg then retest in a few days after about 2 weeks late and or many neg tests go see your dr for a blood test but stress can also delay your period
