Whos going to be in your room?

Question

I originally wanted my mom and SO I really wanted my mom in there for medical support in case there was a csection which is likely what will happen. If any decisions for me had to be made I wanted her to make them. But now I want 2 Or more hours alone with the baby and my SO to do skin to skin and for it to latch before people flood in. Would it be rude for me to ask my mom to step out once it was actually time for the baby to make its way out? Or is it normal for the extra person to leave when pushing or surgery starts?

That's exactly what I'm doing. My parents and husband will be with me while I labor, but when it's time to push it will be just me and my husband. It would make me anxious to have my dad watching me push out a baby and that would just slow me down I think.

I wanted my mom and husband. But also wanted alone time. So my mom stayed in the room for the first 15 after my baby was born and she left for an hour to get us food, and take a shower. So o had alone time with my son and husband.

Just my husband and we're not telling anyone I'm in labor until a few hours after he's born so we have some alone time with baby before everyone decides to visit.
