pregnant cat?

My husband and I have been taking care of this stray cat that was dumped on our street. She seems very pregnant and about to give birth, but I've never dealt with this before! Anybody ever have pregnant cats?

I had a pregnant cat , i was out and when i came back home , i've found here with three baby cats .

We took in a stray that we thought was pregnant, took her to the vet and it was worms. Worst case they'd seen. So take her to the vet. They can tell you pretty quick if she is and what to do for her.

My cat got pregnant and actually had her babies in my living room the eve of mothers day.
If you notice her disappearing into a corner or hiding place, going back and forth repeated then it's probably time. Place an old but clean blanket for her to nest her little ones in, leave her be and keep some distance, she will want her privacy. Check on her every half hour or so and when you think she's done, bring her some water and a little food as she will be exhausted. But cats really are great about taking care of themselves so there's really no need to worry about her, just make her comfy if you can :)

We were given a pregnant cat because her owners didn't want kittens.
You should be giving her kitten food if you're not already because it's good for pregnant or nursing mom cats. Get a box and put in clean towels or blankets that you don't might throwing out. Put it in a quiet place so she doesn't feel her kittens would be threatened there. Watch her and if she seems to be straining for a long time with no progress take her to the vet, they can be stuck.
