Am i late to register for delivery?

So I'm 29 weeks... Finally considered 8 months pregnant. Crazy!! Time went by so quickly. My baby girl is due November 28th and its so exciting to see all the thanksgiving stuff being sold in stores now... The world is letting me know she will be here soon..

But I feel like I'm running late on things. I haven't registered at a hospital for my delivery.. When am I supposed to ? I heard at 7 months I'm supposed to so I'm worrying.. I wish my obgyn would tell me this stuff considering I'm a first time mom, I don't always remember to ask questions when I see her so I guess it's my fault. 
I'm starting to pack my hospital bag today just cause I work a lot so I don't have time to do anything ever. I work and sleep. Work takes so much out of me I pretty much sleep through my two days off a week. So yeah,  that's why I'm starting to pack early. I know most don't till like 35 weeks but not this girl. I'm too busy and I want to perfect it also. I'm also super excited c:

Register? What exactly does that mean?
I just showed up at my hospital with contractions and they put me in a room and the next morning my dr came up and we had a baby. Are you supposed to register?

You can still register but you're only 7 months, 8 doesn't start until 31 weeks. I'm 30 weeks and on the last week on month 7.

I no lomger have to pre-register with the hospital it feels so weird. 4th baby and it's just out of the ordinary for me. Lol. I've have my bags packed since 29 weeks maybe 30 but that was just the baby's clothing then I added my stuff a few weeks later.

I better to register early so u don't have to worry about that when the day comes.  I registered already about to call and see if I can request a private room.

You can register early or the day you go in. I would recommend doing it early because you probably don't want to be filling out paper work while having contractions 😜

Honestly it would probably be fine even if you didn't register.  What are they gonna do,  make you have your baby in the parking lot? I'm not registering at any hospital because I plan to deliver at home,  but if  I need to go to the hospital I will.  They'll accept me.  They just won't have any of my birth preferences on file, however in my case if I end up at the hospital my preferences will be irrelevant anyway.

I registered very early but it's not late to register, I am 36 weeks and 6 days and I haven't packed my hospital bag just a bag for my baby

you can still register! I'm sure you could do it online. Better than waiting until you are in labor lol😊
