I went to the doctor for my anatomy scan at 18 weeks 2 days. Everything looks great except I am being monitored for a low lying placenta. She expects this problem to resolve itself without further issue, but has placed me on pelvic rest. She stated nothing inserted into the vagina. I did ask about lifting and she said not a problem, but I am finding many articles stating pelvic rest as lifting nothing heavy or over 10 lbs. Do I call and ask again? Anyone else put on pelvic rest and what did it mean for you??
