breast milk in water bottle?

I had a bad day today. I went to school and went to pump and realized I had no caps for my bottles or bags. I  had a water bottle which I drank and put the milk in there. It's not sterile. Would it be safe to transfer my milk into bags or should I toss it? It's two feedings and I would like to keep it but my priority is to do what's best for my baby.

I would not feed that to your LO. There are a lot of germs that could have come from you drinking out of the bottle. But don't toss the milk! There are other things that it can be used for like diaper rash, baby acne, even poison ivy.

If you washed out the water bottle well, shouldn't be a problem. When you get home transfer them to bags and freeze them if you don't use them yet. I had to use bell jars when I ran out of bags. Lol
