Keratosis Pilaris?

Anyone have Keratosis Pilaris or a baby with it? My husband has it and he is scared our daughter is going to have it.

I've had it my whole life, the only thing (other than pregnancy lol) that's made it go away was 3-5 drops of oil of oregano in a glass f water, once a day. 
DONT ever take it while your pregnant, oil of oregano can cause you to miscarry or go into early labour! 
I'm a holistic nutritionist and I swear I've tried everything under the sun (uv light therapy, cutting out gluten, cutting out meat, scrubbing my skin raw, etc)
I swear by oil of oregano, I only wish I'd found it sooner in life lol...it would have saved a lot of embarrassing remarks in high school 😂

Strangely enough mine went away during pregnancy! I'm keeping my fingers crossed it'll last afterwards!

I have it.  Though it's been way better since I've been pregnant!  It's not really a big deal honestly,  I don't even notice it anymore.  I used to get embarrassed but now I'm just like fuck it.  Who cares.  Nobody has perfect skin anyway.

I have it, and both of my kids have it too. My daughter's upper arms have it, while my son doesn't have it on his arms but is prone to spots on his cheeks if he doesn't exfoliate with a washcloth in the shower regularly. He also had issues with it on his bottom and thighs when he was in diapers. It's really common and doesn't bother my kids very much, but theirs is pretty mild too. I scrub my upper arms with African black soap and a washcloth and it really helps to smooth the bumps. I understand the insecurity of having the condition, but it's totally harmless and if that's my biggest health concern with myself and my kids then I consider myself very lucky.

KP is genetic, so it is possible. If you start seeing signs of it I recommend going to a dermatologist and they might give some lotions etc to treat it. KP isn't curable but it is treatable. My KP gets so much better when I'm in the sun , however a dermatologist is probably not gonna recommend being in the sun a lot because it is bad for your skin. I've also head cutting gluten out of a diet helps but I've never tried.

I have it/ it's mostly genetic and it's annoying but harmless. So far my toddler doesn't have it but I kind of think it starts around puberty. My bumps got really bad with this second pregnancy and birth! I think I'll finally have to go to the dermatologist for it.
