Pads causing irritation?!

I'm 6 weeks pregnant and have been bleeding and spotting on and off so I've been wearing a pad for the last 5 or 6 days and I swear, TMI warning, that my vagina lips are raw! They hurt! I feel like it's chafing or something from rubbing against the pads. Any advice or very soft pad recommendation? I've been using U by Kotex. I like how long they are.

Try always infinity pads theyre soft amazing and cant tell you're wearing them

Have you tried panty liners? If your just spotting they should catch it and they aren't as abrasive as regular liners

I know this is gross to some, but I've used glad rags, organic cotton resuseable pads. I never used pads and my skin is super sensitive, so I gave them a shot as a back up to a menstural cup. Once you get over the 'ick' factor they really are much more comfortable.

Try pads with dri weave so it pulls the moisture away from you body ... Also change then frequently if possible .. Be sure to use the appropriate thickness as well (based on your flow)...Monistat has a chafing gel you can use also ... It's a gel but dries like a matte powder (if that makes sense) ... Hope that helps ...

I have the same problem.  I use a tiny bit of coconut oil to minimize the chafing.  I do the same for my inner thighs too.
