Vaccine issues, why are these reports $11,000?

Question

Can anyone answer this question for me? I'm posting in general pregnancy cuz this is info we should all have access to, as mothers, if we are to be vaccinating our children. I'm posting anonymously so I do not get involved with a debate, as that is not my intention. Why are these reports so expensive no one can afford them?? Why charge 11k for a downloaded file? Can anyone offer reasons for this? Thanks for your input!

More than likely, you stumbled upon a site offering journals for widespread use - like at a medical school, or for further building research. It does not mean the information is unavailable; only that the in-depth research must be purchased for databases. It's how money is raised for future endeavors. You can find plenty of information online, including peer-reviewed articles, without tapping into those.

One of my masters is in pub health and I've never seen that page before. Did you search through google scholar? It looks like you found an industry page, but there's plenty of data out there on vaccines that isn't $11k. A few hundred for an article is expected but really, those prices look like scams or something not academic (which is what you want). Try Google Scholar. Pub Med should have quite a few that have a decent summary or the entire article for free.
