Okay so I am 34 weeks 3 days. I'm a server and I stay on my feet a lot. Tonight at work I experienced some pretty intense pain. It felt like it was right in my vagina! Lots of pressure and felt like I had to pee! It was on and off for a few hours. Every time I felt it I noticed baby girl was moving a lot too. I drank some water and sat down and it calmed down. I thought it was Braxton Hicks but everyone says it's supposed to be painless? And this was most definitely NOT painless. Need some input here. I go see the baby doc in the morning!

It's what they call "lightning crotch" lol its part of one of those not so fun symptoms we forget about. It means baby is on your cervix and the nerves send like a lightning feeling...it's normal, and it just means take a seat and relax for a second (easier said then done I know)....it gets worse bigger baby gets unfortunately ☹️.....I had it so bad with my lady pregnancy towards the end I actually couldn't walk more then a few feet, I had to use one of those scooters to grocery shop by my last month....totally embarrassing lol.....you're almost done though! It means babies "engaged" and head down

I was a dental assistant up until last week and worked on my feet every day all day too, I would get the same
Pains. My Braxton hicks started with just some pressure and only hurt when baby would move through them but in the last week or so ( now 37 weeks) I wake up in the middle of the night with Braxton hicks and the intensity has gotten stronger and longer. Used to be just when I needed to rest and drink water, now I get them randomly. I'm taking it as a good sign my body is working on what it should do, it's just not fun or comfortable.

I had this a few weeks ago and found out that the baby had dropped a bit, so apparently you can feel that sometimes!

I've had this. I'm 35w 2d and I think you just need to slow down.  I went to the hospital because of feeling contractions, severe back pain and bleeding... Everything was fine though. But at this point I can't be walking for more than 10-15min without having to sit down or I get pain. 
I thought for sure that I was starting
to dilate or something with the shooting pains up the vagina and near the cervix... But nope. :(
