Unprotected sex after d&c

I had a d&c August 8th after losing our baby at 8 weeks. At the time of the d&c I was supposed to be 11 weeks pregnant. Well doctor says we need to wait 3 period cycles to try again. I have yet to have my first period. & I'm still getting positive pregnancy tests from the miscarriage. Well last night me & the SO had unprotected sex. It wasn't planned that way it just happened. & I am freaking out because I want my body to be ready. What are the chances of becoming pregnant this soon? It's been almost 6 weeks since the d&c. & has anyone gotten pregnant after a d&c before their first period? Would love any kind of advice or feedback! Thanks in advance :)
