Postpartum Preeclampsia

Has anyone ever had to deal with postpardom preeclampsia?? I gave birth 9/2/16. Went home two days later but, I had to go back to the hospital 9/10/16 because my BP was up to 195/110 and wouldn't come down. I spent a few days in the hospital and they got it leveled out. My question is how long does this last? I took my pressure today and it's been around 135/103. Which is high for me and they have me on some medicine it just doesn't seem like it's keeping it down to normal. I just want to hear from anyone that's been through this. It's very discouraging and has me worried. Thanks!
