Cleaning First Years bassinet smh

I got a bassinet donated to me, not in bad condition, the lights and sounds all work, but it's white and there is some yellow discoloration and I own two cats... one of which has been jumping into it in the middle of the night so hello cat fur...

How do people clean these things though? Seriously? The fabric doesn't come off the main part, managed to get all the cat fur off using a fabric lint brush (not the sticky lint rollers, those things are garbage)... but other than wiping everything with a damp cloth I don't really know how to clean it...

Any tips?

I'm half tempted to throw it in the tub and let it soak, but I'm scared that will wreck the sounds/ lights... I mean it's not super dirty, I'd just feel more comfortable if I could give it a good wash...

Also if you have tried soaking it, how long does it take to dry? Did it smell funny after?
