Preeclampsia twice?
So, when I was pregnant with my son, I had a super easy, healthy pregnancy. Then, when I went into labor, my blood pressure freaked out and I ended up with preeclampsia and HELLP Syndrome. Still had a happy, healthy little boy and we were both fine. We are now expecting our second (they'll be 13 months apart). From what I've researched, preeclampsia is slightly more likely if you have babies within 2 years of each other. However, my OB didn't think it was that big of a deal when I went for my preconception appointment. Anyone have any experience with pregnancies after preeclampsia? I'd love to hear your stories. I'm so afraid it'll come back earlier this time and I'll have to have an early c-section.
