did daily walking help bring on your labor?

My due date is this Saturday and my doctor told me to walk as much as I can, I am curious did daily walking help any of you to labor if so what was your experience and how long did you walk then labor started? Thanks! :)

My doctor told me walking doesn't make you go into labor because I was walking too trying to get this baby out lol

My due date was yesterday and i had my baby yesterday I used to walk a least a hour and half a day in last 2/3 weeks and bounce on my ball for half a hour at least! I had a fast labour! 8am-10.51am when baby was born! And it was my first! They say being active is key to faster delivery and I believe it.

Nope. This is my second. I walked so so so much with my first and I didn't have him till almost 42 weeks. I'm almost 39 with this one and it hasnt helped either. It seems to be heading toward induction as well. Guess I just have a comfy womb 😂

Yes, daily walking helps. My son's due date was September 26, but I was determined to have him 2 weeks early so I started walking Saturday, September 10. And I just walked for like 15-20 min a day and I started having contractions that Monday morning! So my son was born Tuesday, September 13. So I would definitely try it out. But just do what is comfortable for you and baby. Good luck and congrats!!

I've walked 2-3 miles everyday of my pregnancy. My due date is next Sunday and I've had no signs of labor. Lol. I don't know if my body is just used to the exercise but my baby seems to be happy where he is. Maybe it'll help once I finally DO go into labor.. But it hasn't really helped me progress any faster.
