Am I losing this pregnancy?

I went in today for an ultrasound at 8 weeks. The technician told me that she couldn't tell me anything and that my doctor would be calling me. Well, I just got off the phone and I am only measuring at around 6 weeks. All they could see was the sac, too early for a heartbeat. This happened to me 6 months ago when I went in for my 12 week ultrasound but babe only measured at 9wks. My doctor told me she wants to do a blood HCG test over the next couple days to see if my levels are going up or down. I honestly would just like to know what's going on rather than waiting to hear for another 4 days. Anyone go through something similar?

Girl I went in for an 8 week ultrasound and all they seen was a sac too! Told me that my dates were probably just off! I'm almost 20 weeks now! Hopefully that's all it is! Try not to worry! I'll be praying for you!

I went in for an ultrasound at what would have been 9weeks pregnant of I went by my last period.. but I knew I ovulated late so my Dr sent me for a dating ultrasound and I was only 7 weeks

I would keep calling to ask of my hcg results. It would be a four day wait because they do the HCG in two day intervals. It should be doubling. Some places have an online website where you can see your test results for everything out of your chart. Good luck I know how the wait feels :/

I did. They found an empty sac... Told me my dates were off..blahblah. Limbo for 3 weeks!!!!

Turns out...the residents were so zoomed in they were focused on what the next Dr called a cyst (it measured 8mm ..like a 5 week gestation). Baby was fine and measuring as he should have.

You could have ovulated later than you thought. It IS possible. Just take it easy, stay hydrated. I know the wait is tough. Oh hell, I didn't even get blood tests. Just serious limbo for 3 weeks until another ultrasound.
