Any preggos drinking Starbucks?

I'm 7 weeks along and my doc is completely against Starbucks, even the decaf coffee but I'm a nurse and it's what I survive on! My usual is a grande iced skinny caramel but I feel a little better drinking a tall. I feel bad going against doc orders!

My doctor has absolutely no porblem with caffiene. I had a large soda today but naybe obly have caffiene once every 2 weeks because I am paranoid.

Even their grande coffee is high on caffeine. I'm craving it like nuts but won't have any until after baby. I gave it up for my pregnancy.

I drink it.. My doctor hasn't said anything regarding coffee other than the obvious caffeine restriction. A tall at Starbucks 1 shot of espresso while grande and venti both have 2. There's 75mg in a shot. I would keep drinking it, but that's just me. As long as you're staying under the 200mg/day, don't sweat it.

I quit coffee cold turkey when I found out. I was told to try decaf or half decaf if you absolutely need it. I'm not sure the exact amount but I know a certain amount of oz of caffeine each day is okay, just don't overdo it.

Your doctor is overreacting. All research and everything points to caffeine being okay during pregnancy as long as it's under 200mh a day.
One shot of espresso has about 50-60 mg of caffeine and a regular cup of coffee actually has a little more, closer to 70-80.
Meaning you can have your grande once a day and be fine.
All of this is moot of course if it was for a medical reason that you're having. I'm not a medical professional, so I don't know what would cause caffeine to be so bad for a women during pregnancy, but if that's the case, ask. He should be frank with you.

I have a medium caramel mocha Frapachino at least once of twice a month. Baby is growing at the perfect rate and everything is good with her
