What to store in nursery baskets??

Question

This is probably strange but I have two white wicker baskets and I only have one of them filled with socks and hand covers/hats etc. Idk what to put in the other?? I was thinking toys but it's a newborn nursery so she doesn't really have any yet... any good ideas? Thanks!! (The basket is only about 12 long inches by 8 inches across.)

Depending on where the baskets are stored, they are great for items you will use frequently.  If they are just out of the way then random items that dont really have a home would be great to store in there.

My baskets were in shelves next to the changing table or on the shelves under the changing table. So they held items I would need to grab when doing a changing. Things will change as you figure out what works and what doesn't and as your baby gets older.

Mine have stored, toys, bibs, wash cloths, diapers you name it!

If you have alot of blankets/burp cloths... i know i do.. id store them there.. or clothes that need to be put away because baby wont wear them for a while (6+ months) to just have them out of the way
