Does weed affect your baby?

Alot of people are saying weed does not affect your baby but i was smoking weed heavy while pregnant before i knew and by the time i found out i was 2 1/2 months pregnant now im freaked out that i hurt my baby or something idk just the thought of how much i smoked scares me

I work at a children's hospital and see infants daily! Studies have shown that infants can have a withdrawal! Incl long episode of crying and tremor. I'm not gonna argue about any drug abuse if you want the best for you and your unborn child stop it as soon as possible! Your obgyn will tell
you the same!

In addition- those people who say that weed won't do anything probably smoke a lot of weed. Substance dependancy can be an inherited.

there really isn't enough research right now to be sure about it. but to be safe I wouldn't use it anymore while pregnant. but your baby will be fine, women do a lot of things they aren't 'supposed to' before they find out and their baby is just as healthy :)

Omg. As I sit here and read MOST of these reviews I can't help but get so mad. DO YOU PEOPLE READ?!? SHE STATED SHE QUIT SMOKING WEED WHEN SHE FOUND OUT SHE WAS PREGNANT AT 2.5 MONTHS. Your baby is actually pretty much solely getting nutrients fro the yolk sack for the first 50 days or so, so alcohol and drug use doesn't really affect the embryo at that stage! You will be fine, whatever you decide to do!

You'll be fine. Its safer than drinking alcohol. Just dont smoke anymore till after babys born to be on the safe side
