No u were not to harsh! He got everything he deserves to see exactly what he did to you. Fuck him! That was rape there clearly was no consent on multiple occasions and he continued. I'm so proud of you for knowing that he hurt you and realizing that it's just completely unacceptable and you deserve so much better. You should've called the cops on him. If he did have sex with you at those times then that's aquantance rape since he's not your husband(date rape). If he was your husband then that would be Marital rape. And since you're not underage then that's not statutory rape. The point is you can sue him and get him locked up.

You should even give him the privledge of speaking to him. Don't worry, I went through a very simalar thing. I know it's hard. Don't blame yourself for giving them more chances. I was in the same boat. When you think you love someone and they hurt you like this it's hard to realize it at first and you try to forgive them. But they don't deserve any sympathy from you. They hurt you, over and over again and it's their fault. You don't have to be nice to them. You're not obligated to be nice to anyone, especially after they treat you that way. Stay strong.
