I'm just going to cut up an avocado and steam some chunks of sweet potato to start, so no recipes needed for that. It sounds like you might be doing purees, so i would just suggest combinations that sound good to you. Peas are yummy with carrots, spinach and sweet potato, stuff like that. If you want ideas, you could scope the jarred baby food at the store and make your own versions of the ones that sound good.

Yeah! I agree! it sounds hard but making ur own food is so not hard at all. If u cook for itself at all it's basically just using the veggie u are using that day for baby and putting it in the blender. I love avocados! They are a super food!

I took pictures of all the baby food combinations at Walmart to see what foods go well with other foods, then made my own.

We do lots of stuff in the crockpot and then freeze in ice cube trays. Then I put them in zip lock bags and grab out as I need them.

Have you looked into baby led weaning? With BLW you don't need recipes! Baby eats what the family is eating it's their size/consistency!

I think I'd rather she has the sauce with the veg than just carbs though. But no I wouldn't want the mess of her trying to feed herself the sauce lol.

Well salt is a no-no because it can seriously harm a child. I'm not sure what you mean by bolognase or Currie. But the premise of baby eats what you are eating. So if you are eating spaghetti you can give the noodles, if you really wants he mess with the he sauce, the meatballs, etc.

Does it not make your food a bit bland? And what about bolognase or curries? My little one just turns her head away when she's had enough. Lol.

We just started on solids, he is 5.5 months. We bought the baby bullet blender and it comes with a book full of recipes, portion sizes, how much they should eat by age etc. I am making all of his food! He has had avocado (was his first food) and I blended it with breastmilk to make it really creamy, and just tried bananas which I also blended with milk :) he loved both!
