TMI!Picture-Brown discharge- 38 weeks

I don't know how to make my post a TMI ... I got checked yesterday to see if I was dialated any and I wasn't but she told me my cervix was thinning. I am 38 weeks 3 days. She also checked to see if baby's head was down by pushing on my stomach where the baby's head would be and it hurt so bad! I've been having the exact same pain since yesterday around 3:00. Should I go to the hospital or should I wait to go tomorrow to see if these pains stop? The pain feels like menstrual cramps but worse. Did this happen to anyone?
