when to try again?

Question

After 2 years of ttc #3 we got our positive test (actually 8) 😀
I would have been 6+1 today but unfortunately have suffered a mc a couple of days ago 🙁🙁
Although it's the last thing I can think of right now. How long should we leave it before thinking about trying again?
I'm not sure if it's something we will do but some advice would be great. Thank you

Drs will tell you to wait one cycle, and that's so it's easier to estimate baby gestational age.  Imagine going through the anxiety of 'is the baby not developing or just conceived later' for weeks.  I don't believe there is any evidence to say there is greater risk of miscarriage trying again straight away.  Only you know when you are ready emotionally.
From a personal experience, I miscarried in late June when I was 10.5 weeks.  My husband insisted we waited one month to follow dr advice (I was not happy about it at the time).  When I got my period for the first time, it was horrible.  I did a lot of grieving for the baby I lost, and looking back I needed that month to grieve and focus on the loss.  I fell pregnant the next cycle.  I'm now 8+3 weeks, but still get teary about the baby I lost.  It's confusing but we can only feel our emotions and allow them.

 get a good cycle then go with it. 😊 actually highly fertile one to 2 months after miscarriage. Sorry for your loss hun
