I took birth control for a week or two then stopped about 3 weeks ago due to the side effects. I had unprotected sex and had spotting about a week later and my period is a week late. I was told that my cycle should go back to normal since I didn't take the birth control for a whole month. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. Any advice?
