So I started taking this pill about 3 weeks ago. Not necessarily to prevent pregnancy but just to even out my periods. The last time my fiancé and I had unprotected sex was August 20. I started the pills on August 28th. Before the dr gave them to me they tested for pregnancy, negative. So I started the pills. The first week of pills, heartburn. Constant heartburn. I was told that was just all the hormones being "introduced" into my system. Second week, no heartburn or anything. Until the end of the second week, then I started spotting. I spotted all through the 3rd week and now, just going into the placebo week, nothing. No spotting, no period. I'm wondering if all that spotting has to do with pregnancy? Because obviously the test my doctor gave me would have been way too early for a positive. I plan on testing again either tomorrow or Tuesday if I don't start. I'm just wondering if anyone has had anything similar happen?
