possible miscarriage

Took a pregnancy test Sept. 8th. It was positive took one again with FMU on Friday (9th) still positive. I started spotting on Mon. 12th with just brown blood off and on. My doctor's appt was Friday 16th. Where they done an internal ultrasound and there was nothing there. With me being irregular the doctor said that I may be earlier than we think and done a blood test. Well Saturday I started having fresh blood and has continued. I go back today for blood test again to see if my numbers are falling or rising. I know it may be sill with the bleeding but really hoping that they are and I just found out really early and this is the "period" people mistake for one when they are actually pregnant. I can hope and wish. Even though I will probably hear "chemical pregnancy" something I didn't think would happen to me. Just sad and heartbroken. I've been dealing with this now for a week and I will havw peace about it either way.
