am I pregnant or ovulating? both tests positive?

So I'm 5 weeks post d and c. I had a negative opk on the 15th. And now a positive opk and pregnancy test today! What is going on? I have been taking hpts since the 17th and it hasn't gotten hardly any darker. Could it be leftover hcg? Any advice is appreciated.

It could be leftover hcg but the only way to know for sure if it is or not is to go to your doctors for blood work.

I want to say your pregnant because I got pregnant right away after my first Mc, BUT it could really be left over hcg since mine didn't drop until almost 2months later. The only way to know for sure is to either, get blood work or test every two days to see if your hcg line darkens.

Fun Fact* I used an opk twice and it came back positive, when I was actually pregnant. Good luck.

I still had hcg levels high enough to cause a positive pregnancy test 5 weeks after my miscarriage. My midwife acts like it's unusual, but it does happen. Only way to see is to get your bloodwork done to see if your numbers are going up

I feel like 5 weeks after the D&C it should all be out of your system. I had my D&C 3 weeks ago and I'm showing negative on pregnancy tests. When I did find out I was pregnant I was positive on both hpt and opk so it's very possible that you are pregnant. Have you had unprotected sex?

I had my D&C 4 weeks ago and had this exact same thing happen last week. Called doctor and they sent me in for bloodwork. My hcg was 24. I'm going back tomorrow (one week later) for more bloodwork to be sure it's falling.  They said it's probably just taking awhile to get out of my system.
