Having two kids under age two?

Question

Who has two kids under two? Is it tough in the sense of it being down right overwhelming? Or is it not as bad as it seems?

My husband and I have two kids. One 4 years old and the other 9 months. He really wants to have another baby and I would love too, but since I don't know what it's like having them so close in age, the thought is kind of scary. My youngest is also still ebf and super clingy, so I feel like jealousy would more than likely be an issue. Can anyone give some input and share your experiences?

My kids are all close in age. I have a 7 yrs old , 4 yrs old, 3 yrs old,  22 months and I will have my last and 5th baby in late October early november. To be honest I think it's the most overwhelming at night for me getting everyone ready for bed and stuff. And the store those are the hardest times for me. Otherwise it's not that bad. You have to have patience obviously.  All the girls are mine except the dark haired one. She's my niece.

My oldest 2 are 17 months apart, it wasn't too bad, once my youngest starting walking it's overwhelming shopping or going out anywhere with them both since I was dealing with a 1 year old and a terrible two toddler and at that time my hubby was working swing shift at dept of corrections so I never was able to go out with him to help me, but overall it wasn't too bad and now at 3.5 and almost 5 they are the best of friends and they always have someone to play with which is uber nice for me :)

My two sons are 18 months apart, baby girl will be here in December so my oldest will be 6 nearly 7 and my other son will be 5. Having the boys so close together was difficult your up all night with the baby and all day with the toddler, then potty training it all can be to much, they are very close and like the same things now but fight a lot lol

I would definitely say it depends on the kids, my brother & I are 19months apart & my mom had a really hard time @ the end of the pregnancy when she was huge & couldn't pick me up (my bro weighed 11lbs 13oz @ birth!) & then my bro & I fought constantly up until we were in our late teens, we literally hated each other. My mom told me the day they brought him home from the hospital my Nana was holding him & I came up & smacked him on the cheek & apparently he never forgave me for that! We get along now but it was very rough for many years, I always got along well w/ my 2 older sisters who are 5 & 8 years older than me.

I have an 11 9 7 6 and 2 year old. Probably the easiest one was the two that are just over a year apart... they were fantastic ... i was still nursing up until not long before the baby came.. then i nursed the two at the same time after a couple of months... they are still best friends ( a boy and a girl) . I always think back... im like how was that so much easier then the last two with their 3 and a half yr gap. It was not a problem really whatsoever..  probably depends on the children since they are all soo soo different. But its a great friend for each other.

Mine are 16.5 months apart. First 6 months are survival. Its hard but doable. But then its so lovely and they play together and can go to same activities.
