Which method of birth control do you ladies prefer or recommend for postpartum moms not looking for long term (over a year) pregnancy prevention?!

I recently started taking birth control. It's been almost a week and already I noticed I've been having really bad breakouts, nausea,headaches,dizziness,weird mood swings(like crying for no reason),loss of appetite,cramps,sore breasts,everything... When I started taking it,I was on my last day of my period and it stopped until the morning then was heavyish then stopped finally. I have the combo pills (it has estrogen and progestin) and idk if this is normal ..? I want to stop because I feel like all the symptoms are too much and are kinda stressing me out more. But I read that if you stop them early it can mess up your period really bad soo.. idk what to do

I was on the shot for 2 years,  got pregnant while on it.. after I had the baby I decided to get in the pill and condoms.. got pregnant again while using both! .. no i never missed a pill.. after that I got on the IUD and by this point I was not sexually active anymore lol 2 years later I had to go in to the emergency room to get out removed because it got stuck on my uterine wall, I was in so much pain for days and I looked like I was 6 months pregnant from the swelling but I had no idea it was cause of the iud.. so now I'm married and don't use anything other than pull out method ( worked for 2 years).. got pregnant by choice this last time lol I'm 3 weeks pp and don't plan on getting on any kind of bc again

If you're NOT looking for long term then I suggest the pill.

I had an IUD for 10 years before getting pregnant and will be getting another one at my 6 week postpartum checkup.
