how did you decide on an induction date?

I will pick an induction date tomorrow with doc. Going in blindly. I'm currently 40+2. I'm sure every hospital is different but how did you pick a date? Did your doc give you free reign to pick or specific dates?

I am 40w3d today. Called the doctor today and told her to go ahead and schedule the induction. I told her to pick the date and time because I didn't want to choose the calendar game winner! 😂 I called today around around 4 so I guess I will hear back tomorrow 🤔

My Dr scheduled me at the first available time after 41 weeks.

My dr called the hospital for availability and chose the date. Then called me and let me know

For us it would depend on when my doctor was on call... sadly she's out of the country this week so I'll be induced by her back up.

My doctor let us pick and my SO likes three's so he picked a day divisible by 3 lol
