making your own baby food?

Any other moms out there making your own baby food? I've been making my LOs baby food since 4 mos and it's been going good! I made her pouches today for the first time! I'm excited to see how she likes the flavor combos!

I'm sticking my baby with vegetables for now. I found that veggies-only diet poop is a heck of a lot less stinky. My LO loves anything as long as it's together with rice or noodles, it seems. I've tried a very light broth with some tofu and he absolutely loved it. Yay! I try to just take a bit of what I'm already cooking for my husband and I to eat to give to our child. So his tofu soup morphed into Chinese-style egg-drop soup for the adults after I added some more flavoring. It was super easy and delicious! Definitely something I might repeat especially on busy evenings.

Been making baby food for the past month and I love it! It's so easy, cheap and fun and so far my LO has loved everything. I'm going to start getting more adventurous with flavor combos (have only done chicken and sweet potato and chicken and brown rice - both she loves) this weekend.

Yes there's a pouch maker! Target carries it or you can find it cheaper on Amazon!! It was so easy to use and kind of fun!! I have not tried chicken yet...do you cook it off and purée it up?
