Hard time conceiving after mirena removal

Hello all ! I am new to this App so bear with me. I just wanted to share my experience and hopefully someone would be able to give me some type of insight. I'm 28 years old and I just recently got my Mirena birth control removed after having it for year. I got it removed on May 13, maybe a month later I got my cycle. It seemed like my cycle was a little off, which was to be expected for not having it a whole year from being on the mirena. It's been 4 months since I have gotten the birth control removed and my period has been coming every month. It maybe a day or two late which is frustrating because me and my boyfriend have been trying to conceive a child. We have been waiting until my most fertile days and still disappointed every month when my cycle starts lol blah I have been pregnant Once. I have a 2 year old soon to be 3. I am trying to stay positive and keep hope. I'm not sure if it will take my body some time to adjust after not having a period for a year. I wish I never got that Mirena 😞 I just want to know of this is normal and pray that the birth control didn't do any damage to my uterus
