Numbness and burning sensation on my skin under my breast

Anyone else been experiencing this? The skin over the top of my rib cage has been feeling completely numb with a weird burning sensation for a couple weeks now.  Cannot find anyway to relieve the feeling beside sitting with my hands pushed down on it.  Not sure how to handle 7 more weeks of this I just want to cry because the lack of relief I can find.
