What is in a name

A collage in new jersey had to change the name of their bbq from American bbq because it was offensive . I am wondering why that is concidered offensive . I can't think of anyrhing more American than BBQ and apple pie ! Do you find it offensive ? Why is the name American bbq offensive in a collage but stomping on the American flag is not ? Why are we spending a small fortune to send our kids to collage ? What exactly is the benifit of learning you should be ashamed of being American ?Some of you may think this is not a woman's issue, but it absolutely is because what is next ? What will be taken away from us in the next round of what is concidered offensive?, The way we dress as in not being covered up , the fact that we drive , the fact that we accept gay people , or inter racial marriage ? We really need to check what is happening to us and stop sleepwalking through all this stuff or we are ALL going to wake up one day and be something we don't recognize !!
