Pregnancy after d&c?

Question

I had a d&c done on September 1st. My doctor didn't give any instructions. I started to have unprotected sex with my SO three days later. And have continued to regularly. I started to feel nauseous so I took a pregnancy test yesterday. A very faint line showed after 2 minutes or so. I know that hormones left over could cause the positive. Today I took a digital clear blue test. It showed positive 1-2 weeks. Anyone else have this happen?

It's probably left over HCG. Your OB should have continued to draw blood to check your levels.
You need to wait at least one week after the procedure. 
And I suggest waiting for your period to return that way if you track your period and what not you won't be guessing.

No! My doctor had me wait until my follow up appointment to have any sex because you can get an infection

Last October I had a d&c the doctor told me to wait a couple of weeks for sex and told me to wait 3 months before trying again. I had sex maybe a week later? Took 2 first response tests &they both had the faintest lines pop up. Waited one more week to take another &it was negative. I was told I took too soon before my hcg went back to 0 so idk if that's what's happening to you but I would wait another week to re test. But hey exactly 3 months after my d&c I got pregnant &I'm expecting my rainbow baby a year exactly after my loss so keep your head up ☺

I waited about 3 months (i was told to wait at least 3 months) after mine but you definitly could be. Call your ob office and maybe ask for blood work to see what your levels are doing?
