kinda awkward to ask but I need help...

Ok so for the past couple months I've had this strange smell... It's almost like a sour smell and I can't get it to go away. (yes this is coming from my genital area) I've tried using summers eve for a while and it doesn't seem to help. I shower every day and always wash but I can't get the smell to go away! Can anyone recommend anything that will possibly help with this or even tell me what it is? It's not a smell like a yeast infection or anything it's just a bitter smell that won't go away. Any type of info will help but please I don't want any jokes.
