Thyroid problems??

So I have hypothyroidism. Was wondering if there were anyone else out there who have it as well and if it is causing problems with getting pregnant.

I have hypothyroid and got pregnant the second cycle trying. I am 5 weeks 1 day so far... You just have to take your meds and see your doctor every 6 months.

If you do get pregnant, make sure you get your levels checked right away because you will need a higher dose of meds! And you'll have to get levels checked every 6 weeks.

Hypothyroid is differ my from Hashimotos! I'm also hypothyroid. My endocrinologist says as long as your ths levels are in range your good to go!!! Just that you have to see the endo and take regular blood tests throughout your pregnancy to ensure that you and baby have the right levels of thyroid hormone. Again you should have no problem if your condition is controlled. See an endocrinologist while ttc for a blood test.

Quick side note to the other commenter: my friend has Hashimotos diagnosed 2 yrs ago, she has a 10 month old and is currently pregnant w/ #2. Nothing is impossible.

I have hypothyroidism, on Armour but still adjusting my dose and not quite at normal levels. The fatigue, headaches, inability to control my temperature, and so low it's nonexistent metabolism are hell to live with, but infertility is hardly a problem for me when I had a tubal to purposely cause it ;)

I have Hashimotos also, along with a healthy and happy full term 13 month old little girl. I've never felt better or had better levels than when I was pregnant. It did take awhile to get pregnant but it is possible!
