Break up-Need help.

Just going through a break up and it isn't what I want and to the best of my knowledge it isn't what he wants. We've been through things that we want to find a healthy way past but are having troubles on the road to reconciliation. It's a 7.5 year relationship. We both have dreams to get married ect. I don't know what to do, I feel stuck and I know he needs space but I don't want to push him away because I truly love him and that's the one thing he knows for sure is that he truly loves me as well. Do I let time do its thing? Or? What? I don't want him with someone else and its kill him to see me with someone. Help please!
